Harley Inspection Cover, OEM #60591-02  (Mounts Over Stock Covers)

According to one of our online references, this considered to be an "over existing cover" inspection cover.  That means the original inspection cover is retained while this plate is mounted over the top.  And you will note there are only 2 holes for retaining this cover.  We believe the original inspection plate is held in place using the two center screws while this plate is mounted over the top using the two outside screws.

Chrome is bright and clean with minor finish wear, only.  So it still shows very nice.  Can be used on any stock primary cover the originally used a 4-bolt inspection plate.  This includes FX and FL models for the Shovelhead and Evolution era.  

FITMENT NOTE:  originally, this plate was accompanied by a new screw set.  And since this plate is designed to mount over the original stock plate, the hardware set used must allow flush-mounting.  That means the screw heads on the original plate must fit under the dished areas of this plate.  Further, it's possible a slightly longer screw pair may be required for mounting this cover on its left and right side holes.  So you may need to experiment with different screw heads to obtain the correct fitment.
