Harley FLH/FLT Rear Brake Master Cylinder, L1979-84   (OEM #41754-79A)

OEM master cylinder, but the cover and cover screws are aftermarket.

Unit was disassembled for inspection, and bore is clean.  The original cup-style seal was worn, so we installed a newer seal, but the size we put in is slightly wider.  It produced excellent pressure with the new seal, but sometimes the piston assembly would stick.  We experienced no such sticking when using the original seal.  So the unit should be tested on the bike, prior to riding.  That being said, we will include the original cup seal for reference.  But ultimately a new rebuild kit, or at least a new piston cup seal, may be required.  

We understand this style was used on FLH models from late 1979-84 and on FLT models from 1980-82.
