Harley Evolution FLST Foot Brake Lever Support Plate  (OEM #42431-86)

Early FLST Softail plate. 

Original black paint is still fairly nice for this vintage.  Mount holes have nice, round shape.  Arms show very light scraping on the lower sides, but this is fairly common.

According to Factory references, this plate first appeared on FLST models in early 1987 under part number #42431-86.   In the following year, the part number changed to #42431-87.   In 1995, the part number changed again to #42431-87A.    However, we are unfamiliar with the possible changes that those various numbers might have represented, but it could have been something as simple as finish.   But more research may be required.
