Transmission Ball Bearing OEM/NOS #8970

Based on cursory research, we understand this ball bearing was common to both XL's and Big Twins.    However, our Factory references for the 2000 and later model years are few, but we did find it listed in our XL and Big Twin parts books beginning for the 2006 model year.

FITMENT NOTE:  This part number also appears in Factory references under OEM #8970A.  We don't know what specific differences might have existed, if any, between the standard and the "A" versions.  However, we do know the standard 8970 was manufactured in Canada where the 8970A was manufactured in S. Korea.
