S&S Super B Air Cleaner Cover Chrome Insert  (Super B With #177 Plates, ONLY)

We don't know the origins of this insert, but we know it has some history.  This is the second one we've located in the last 5 years, so we don't find them often. 

In general, chrome is bright.  But it shows normal light scratches and light finish wear.  No dents.  No dings.  Two front mounting holes have a dished contour while the rear mount hole shares the same contour as the cover. 

FITMENT NOTE--this insert can only be mounted on the S&S Super B covers using the #177 backing plates.  It will not fit the Super E/G assemblies, which featured a different rear mount hole location.
