Harley XL Sportster Rear Caliper Bracket, Cast Aluminum  (OEM For 10" Rotors)

Factory references show two part numbers for the 1979-81 vintage:  OEM #40944-79 and OEM #40929-80. 

We believe this is the early bracket #40944-79.  And our Factory references do illustrate this specific casting, though both part numbers are referenced to it.  What makes this bracket unique, relative to the later bracket, is that the casting lugs are located 1" closer to the rear hole.  And we presume the 10" disc vintage was earlier, not later.  So first use from 1979 seems logical.  In fact, it's possible this was a one-year-only bracket, so it's not common. 

Original cast aluminum construction.  Caliper bushings are present.  Rubber bumper, however, is required.
