Harley Sportster Girling Rear Caliper, OEM #44052-82, 1982-83 (Tested & Working)

OEM for XL Sportsters for the 1982-83 vintage, only.

Other than normal finish wear and light blemishing, condition is very good condition.  And we have already tested piston movement which is smooth and clean.

Original dot graphic is still present, bleeder screw is attached, and the piston seals and piston are all in nice condition.

NOTE:  this caliper is correct for the XL Sportster from 1982-83, only.  It must not be confused with the FXR variation which had some important machining differences.  Specifically, the XL version of the Girling features a bleeder screw on the right side.  In contrast, the FXR bleeder screw needs to be on the left.  This is an important fitment issue, since OEM hoses must be routed correctly, with the proper reach.  So, although both XL and FXR models used the Girling, the bleeder and connector port holes were configured differently.
