Harley Sportster GEN/OIL Indicator Lamps, Two-Wire Type (OEM #68536-70, 1972-74)

This set of lamps come from the same headlight visor assembly, as does the label.  And the red pilot lamp lenses, according to our research, were only used as a pair on XL Sportsters from late 1972-74.  

Lens covers are aged and weathered, but both have been tested, and both are in good working condition.

FITMENT NOTE:  these lamps are considered "early", which means their diameters are large, relative to the lamps used for the 1975-later vintage.  Therefore, these lamps can ONLY be used with the 1970-74 style visors, which featured the correctly-sized machined holes.  For 1975 and later, the late visor and lamp components must be used.  So early and late style components DO NOT interchange.
