Harley SMOOTH Bore Shifter Arm  (XL Sportster/Panhead/Shovelhead 1953-74)

Smooth bore shifters were used from 1953-74, but this offsets style is typical of "cone" motor applications, beginning in 1970.   The offset is thi arm looks more like the XL version, however.  That being said, it could certainly be used on the early FL/FLH Panheads or Shovelheads where a smooth bore shifter lever is required.

Chrome remains clean-showing, but there is some light fading.  There is also some minor flaking around the shaft hole.  Peg is OEM Harley-Davidson.

Is it OEM? Hard to say.  If so, it would likely be OEM for early cone XL models, based on the bend style.
