Harley Shovelhead Transmission Plate #47698-65A  (Non-Oil Fliter Mount Type)

This is the standard "A" plate. That means there is no machined hole for attaching the late, transmission-mounted oil filter bracket. For reference, the various versions are indicated below. This is OEM #47698-65A.

TECHNICAL NOTE:  there are three versions of this plate:

#47698-65A: standard
#47698-65B: machined with additional hole at the rear for attaching late oil filter bracket
#47698-65C: machined for late filter mount plus two additional holes in a diagonal arrangement (likely forclip retainers)

This is the "A" version.  Original black paint finish, no cracks, and all four spacing rings are still present.
