Harley Shovelhead Master Cylinder Body--Needs Internals (OEM 1972-81)

OEM body in very good, original condition. 

No scrapes or damage.  And all the machined screw holes have good, straight threads.  Bore is smooth and straight.  But there are no internals.  So a good cleaning and a complete rebuild kit are required. 

Included, but not pictured, is a 90 degree NPT-to compression fitting, which was used for the 1978-81 vintage.  For 1972-77, a straight version was used (see FITMENT NOTE below). 

FITMENT NOTE:  we have seen this body in two styles.  The first style features a compression seat built into the line out port.  The second style (and the more common) features machining for an NPT-to-compression fitting.  This is the second style which requires the fitting.  However, the Factory used two different fittings, depending on the vintage.  The early style is a short straight fitting (#63609-72) used from 1972-77.  The late style is a 90 degree fitting (#43307-78) used from 1978-81.
