Harley Shovelhead Keihin Carburetor, Pull Disc (OEM #27472-80, L 1978-80)

This is a Shovelhead-era Keihin.  Specifically, the attached choke cable guide is consistent with the L1978-80 vintage.  Also consistent with this vintage is the single pull disc.  In contrast the push-pull assemblies did not appear until 1981.  And for the 1976-E78 vintage, a different configuration was used.

This is a complete assembly, and both throttle and choke plate assemblies are complete and have good function.  The correct cable guides are present.  And the float bowl assembly is complete with float and related jetting components.  All flange bolt holes have good, straight threads.  It's also worth nothing that the plastic section of the Inlet elbow has cracks, but this is common.  And replacements are readily available.  We always recommend solid brass inlets, whenever possible.

A complete cleaning, rebuild kit, and new fuel inlet elbow are required, prior to use.
