Harley Shovelhead Front Master Cylinder Body With Internals (OEM 1972-81)

OEM body in fairly nice condition.  Polished aluminum finish is pretty clean, and all the machined screw holes and hydraulic fitting ports have good, straight threads.  Internals are present, and the piston plunges smoothly and cleanly.  Although it produced good air pressure in our bench tests, we still recommend disassembly for inspection and possible rebuild.

Also, you will note that the body features a compression fitting seat in the hydraulic out port, which might suggest an early vintage.  We know some of the late bodies featured a machined NPT port, and a special NPT-to-compression fitting was used on those late bodies.  In this case, the line connects directly to the body.
