Harley Shovelhead 7" Air Cleaner Cover, "Made In USA"

This IS NOT the early Panhead cover.  But it might be a Cone Shovelhead cover.

Specifically, this is a 7" round cover, and it can be used on all Panhead and Shovelhead applications.  Original, early OEM covers will have an upper instructions stamp, a lower weep hole, and a "Harley-Davidson" script in the bar section of the logo.  This cover has none of those features.  However, it does have the "Made In USA" script, which is a bit unusual.  Most aftermarket covers will not have this.  But they do, generally, feature the "American Made" script.  So the "Made In USA" script might make this a late OEM cover.  Or, at minimum, its manufacturing source is the USA.

Cover shows bright and clean, but there is wear in the chrome finish in the upper sections with some brass hazing.  However, we find this type of dated finish very desirable.

We are noting one impact mark/ding in the 9 o'clock position on the side.  It's a fairly soft mark, so it's not especially conspicuous.  And the cover shows well.
