Harley Shovehead/Evolution FXR Shifter Shaft Lever (OEM #34621-84, 1984-93)

OEM shaft for early 5-speed FXRs.  

Shaft is smooth shaft, splines are straight.  Lever is nicely-square.  You can see what appear to be "O" ring slots, which we have not seen before in this lever style.  Usually the "O" rings are attached to a teflon sleeve.  So this feature is something new to us.

Reviewing Factory references, only part number #34621-84 is shown.  There are no indicated updates from 1984-93.  At least nothing we could find our our shop manuals.  What we do know is that this style lever was only used on the FXR.  So, evidently, there were some variations.  But we imagine if the teflon sleeve and seal set is used, the slots on this shaft become irrelevant.
