Harley Panhead Steel Sand Cast Manifold  (OEM #27027-55, 1955-57)

Original "-55" casting.

Fundamentals are good with square "O" ring seal steps, and all four flange bolt holes have nice shape, not egged.  Chrome finish, however, is dated.  And there is extensive flaking, particularly on the bottom side.

Construction is sand cast steel, so this is the early version used from 1955-57.  In '58, die cast aluminum versions were introduced.
