Harley Panhead SMOOTH Bore Toe Shifter Arm  (Likely An Original '58 Casting)

Smooth shaft bore and a smooth peg hole, so the early style long-studded shifter peg must be used.

In our opinion, this is an original '58 casting that was polished and chrome plated many years ago.  And many of the original casting features are still evident, when compared to a known OEM casting. 

Condition is generally good.  The chrome is reasonably clean, but there is clear fading and light finish wear.  We are also noting some slight narrowing in the pinch channel, and there is some evidence of spreading, using a wedge, such as a screwdriver, so as to open the bore sufficiently to mount on the shaft. But we have seen much worse, so we still consider this to be a very useful piece that will serve a number of builder needs.

Again, very likely OEM.  Just polished, plated, and some light evidence of narrowing in the machined channel.
