Harley Panhead/Shovelhead Oil Tank/Filter Cap  (OEM 1965-E1982)

Chrome is generally clean, but some light finish wear and minor blemishes are present.  Original cork seal is still present but is generally stiff from age.  So replacement is indicated.  .

According to Factory references, filter caps were used from '65-early '82. For late '82 and later, the in-tank style filter was no longer used.
