We know there were a few variations on these tubes.  For example, the FX used the same style tube, but the mount studs were oriented another 90 degrees.  These, in contrast, are the FL style.  When viewed from end-to-end, one has a slight pitch to the right.  The other appears straight.  And over the years, we have seen left and right pitch versions.  We also know the Factory used different part numbers for left and right tubes, but we have never been able to determine if there were any differences. Therefore, we always recommend careful fitting and shimming to obtain the best possible fitment.
