Harley Panhead/Shovel Lifter Block/Tappet Guide Screws 1/4-24, Big Twins 1953-76

Palmer's indicates this screw style to be correct for Panhead and Shovelhead models, 1953-early '76, part number #18660-53.  Specifically, they feature a 5/16" hex head with a countersunk profile and a 1/4"-24 screw size and thread pitch.  Unlike pre-'53 screws, these do not require the small washers.

NOTE--these screws do not interchange with the '78-later versions. For '78 and later, the thread pitch and screw style was different; early and late guide screws DO NOT interchange.
