Harley Panhead/Shovel FL Foot Shift Rod & Clevis (OEM, 1953-E78)
Generally correct for all FL/FLH models from 1953-E1978. This rod was also used for the early FX Superglides, probably from '71-'72, but possibly to '73. So you may wish to review your Factory references if early FX use is intended. Late FX models, in contrast, machined a reversed-pattern shift drum, so the rod action on late FX models was also reversed, and a straight rod style was used. We believe this change was introduced for through-the-primary, mid-shift control models.
Original silver finish is worn, and there is a weather spot in the mid section. Clevis end is just slightly worn. Fitment on a lever stud was pretty good, but there was some slight play. But nothing excessive, in our view.
