Harley Panhead/Shovel 4 Speed Shifter Pawl Carrier, 1952-70  (OEM #34488-52)

Early style pawl carrier.

This is the early type, typically used on FL models from 1952-79 and on FX models from 1971-73.  For 1974 and later, the FX used the 4-hole carrier, cover, and lever set.

Pawl cover screw hole remains nicely-machined with good, straight threads.  Lever locating pins are present, and all three lever mount holes have good, straight threads as well.
