Harley Panhead/Generator Shovel OEM 12 Volt Battery Tray  (OEM 1965-67)

OEM tray for the 1965-67 vintage.

Square condition, and all correct tabs and studs are present.  Black paint is dated but original.   So the fundamentals are all very good.  However, you will notice a number of counter-sunk hole sets that have added to the tray base.  We suspect a previous user experimented with different mount locations for the relay bracket.  Functionally, they are irrelevant.  And the only two with any cosmetic significance would be the two holes appearing on the left side damper mount tab.

Added holes aside, this is a good, original tray with sound fundamentals.  And the holes could be corrected, if required. 

FITMENT NOTE:  this is the first generation tray, used from 1965-67.  For the 1968-'69 vintage, a 90 degree tab appears on the front bracket.  Otherwise, the early and late trays are essentially the same.
