Harley Panhead/Generator Shovel 12 Volt Battery Tray, 1965-67

Fundamentals are good, cosmetics are fair. 

Tray frame is square, not twisted or distorted.  All correct tabs are present and secure.  And all welds are solid.  Chrome is fair, and some surface rust is present.  And you can see a hole was added to the left, rear tab.  However, this is functionally irrelevant.  And tray condition remains solid and sound.

Is it OEM.  It's hard to say.  But construction quality is quite good.  So if it's not OEM, it's an aftermarket tray with manufacturing origins likely in the U.S.A.  We've seen many import trays, and the qualify of this tray surpasses them. 

FITMENT NOTE:  this is the first generation style tray, used from 1965-67.  For the 1968-'69 vintage, a 90 degree tab appears on the front bracket.  Otherwise, the early and late trays are essentially the same.
