Harley Panhead Foot Shifter Cover, 1952-64  (Likely OEM)

Good-looking cover.  Original chrome finish, however, is worn in the upper face area as well as around the shifter arm channel.  And these wear areas give off a brass-like haze.  That being said, age and patina is an important consideration for many OEM builders.

We are noting an irregular inner, lower edge.  We suspect an impact in this area.  And just below it, a small patch of chrome plating has flaked off.  That being said, this could easily be reshaped using shaping dollies and a soft mallet.  Even so, it looks pretty clean, as is.  And based on our source and the indicated age, we're fairly certain this is an OEM cover.
