Harley Panhead Buddy Seat Passenger Peg Bracket (RIGHT SIDE, OEM 1955-57)

According to Palmer's Restoration Guide, there are 4 versions of this bracket, and the differences between them regards the number of holes and bends present, as follows:

Type 1:  1941-46, no bends, one hole

Type 2:  1947-54, no bends, three holes

Type 3:  1955-57, bend at board mount end, three holes

Type 4:  1958-64, bend at board mount end, bend at peg mount end, three holes

This is the Type 3 variation, correct for rigid era Panhead use from 1955-57.  Further, this is a right side bracket, ONLY.  The left side bracket would be a mirror image of this one, and it would also have the same bend and hole features as this one. 

Condition, in our view, is ideal.  There are original black paint remnants on the peg end cap as well as the bracket, and the age and patina present is what you would expect from an OEM component.  Other than some minor peg end cap edge blemishing, condition is very nice.
