Harley Pan/Shovelhead Shifter Plate & Lever (SMOOTH Shaft, Circlip Type, 1965-73)

Foot shift assemblies were introduced in 1953, but there were some variations. This particular plate and lever set would be correct for the 1965-73 vintage.  Unique to these models was the circlip-style, clevis retainer.  Also introduced for the '65 vintage was the one-piece toe/heal shifter, so the two-piece shafts were no longer used.

Please note the shifter lever has a SMOOTH shaft, so a smooth bore toe-heal shifter arm will be required.  Plate has a dated chrome finish, but the footboard tab is straight, not bent.  And all mounting face holes have good shape.
