Harley Late Shovel/Early Evo 5/8" Front Master Cylinder (OEM, Black)

Late Shovelhead, early Evo master cylinder, introduced in 1982. 

Original black paint is dated with chips and finish wear.  But generally a good-looking assembly.  We are noting some scraping on the outer body edges near the lever pivot.  But function is no impacted, so lever has a good, firm feel, and the piston plunges smoothly and cleanly with good air pressure.  And reservoir is clean and free from residue with traces of brake fluid present.  Excellent banjo bolt hole threads, too.
