Harley FXST Softail Ignition Module  (OEM #32416-89)

We were unable to locate this specific part number with the "-89" suffix.  However, we did find "-84A" and "-87" variations, and both were used on FX and FXST models.  So it's clear this is original to either FX or FXST models, likely beginning in 1989.  But please do your own research to verify proper use and fitment.

Reviewing our photos, you can see a broad wear path on the top side of the module.  Evidently, the module came in contract with some rotating component.  We can't even guess as to what the might have been.  It doesn't seem likely to us that this would have occurred on the bike.  Perhaps it was in the shop and got close to a tool, of some sort.  Perhaps it was done intentionally.  We don't know.  That being said, all the leads appear secure with no evidence of burning or heating.  So the wear seems to use superficial, not functional.

Regardless, we offer a full 30-day warranty.  If this module fails in performing to your satisfaction, simply return it for a full refund, no problem.
