Harley FXST Evolution Softail Shifter Plate   (OEM #33683-90, 1991-99)

Late style OEM plate for FXST models, 1991-99.

Technically, this smoothed type shifter plate is correct for FXST Softail models from 1991-99.  For pre-'91 plate, a stamped steel design with a gusset support was used.  That being said, the shift shaft hole position and frame mount hole patterns are the same back to 1986, so this bracket can certainly be used for the 1986-90 vintage.   However, if this plate is to be used on early Softails, the late lever shaft, seals set, and teflon spacer must be used.    The early shaft levers were too short for this plate.

NOTE:  this style shifter requires the "O" ring seal set and teflon spacer.   Also required is the '91-later shaft lever.    Pre-'91 shafts are too short for this plate.
