Harley FXSB/FXE-80 Shovelhead Master Cylinder & Reservoir (OEM 1983-84)

The master cylinder in this assembly was used on various FX models from 1983-early 1987, but according to Factory references, black was unique to the FXSB and FXE-80 models.  And the mount bracket is consistent with those two models.  The only thing we don't know is whether the hose lengths varied between the FXSB and FXE-80, but we suspect they were the same.  For reference, the overall hose segment length measures 19".  Also, note the original hose clamps appear on both hose ends, so this is an original, sealed assembly.

Reservoir interior is very clean.  And we disassembled and inspected the master cylinder internals.  Bore, spring, plunger, and seals were all clean.  Unit produced good pressure in our bench tests, but some builders may wish to rebuild using a new kit.
