Harley FXR/T Shovelhead/Evolution Girling Caliper, Polished (Tested & Working)

OEM Girling rear caliper, OEM #44050-82A, correct for FXR/FXRT models, 1982-86.  

Unique to the FXR Girling is the location of the bleeder screw hole which appears on the left side.  The XL Girling, in contrast, will have the bleeder screw hole located on the right.

Caliper has been disassembled, inspected, and tested.  Bore is clean and nicely-machined with a good seal set.  Piston movement is clean and smooth.  A previous user removed the OEM black paint and polished the body.  Shows very nice with light, minor blemishes, only.  But these can be easily wet-sanded and polished even further for a very fine finish.

No additional hardware is included. Just the caliper, piston, and seal assembly, exactly as pictured.

FITMENT NOTE:  this caliper is for the FXR models, only.  For the XL Sportster, the Factory switched the bleeder screw location to the right.  So although this will "fit" the XL, the hydraulic hose routing will not be correct.  For XL builders, you'll want OEM #44052-82.
