Harley FXR Shovelhead/Evo Master Cylinder, 1982-E87 (OEM #42446-82A)

OEM unit assembly with a clean bore and good seal and piston set. Produced very nice pressure in our bench tests. You will note, however, a previous user shaved some material off the outside surfaces. We can't imagine why someone would need to do this, but there is still plenty of material remaining, so function is not impacted.

Factory references show part number #42446-82A, correct for FXR, FXRS, and FXRT models 1982-early 1987. Specific to this master cylinder type is the machining for a side-mounted stop light switch. In contrast, FXST and FXWG models mounted the brake light switch remotely at the brake T location, and FLT versions featured one hydraulic fitting on the top, not two.
