Harley FXE Shovelhead Battery Tray  (RBE Brand, 1973-84)

This is an RBE brand tray, so it's an aftermarket tray, not OEM.  However, we believe RBE is a domestic manufacturer, and we have always found their products to be of good quality and construction.  

Likewise, the build on this tray is quite sturdy--it's constructed from steel stock that is comparable to OEM trays.  Tray and all tabs ar in square condition.  And welds are solid.  Chrome has typical side wear on the left side face, but this is common.

Lastly, you will note that this tray design can accommodate either the early bottom mount relay (1973-79) or the late style relay (1980-84).  So it was intentionally designed for all FXE models, 1973-84.

FITMENT NOTE:  this is the FXE tray.  In contrast, the FX tray for kick start only models was a bit smalleer, and the FL/FLH tray was a bit larger.  This is for FXE models that feature electric start motors.
