Harley FXE Shovelhead Battery Tray; OEM 1973-79  (For Early Relays)

Early FXE tray, correct for electric start models 1973-79.  It is distinguished by its two countersunk holes, used for attaching the early, bottom-mounted relay.

This is an OEM tray, and the construction is quite sturdy.  Square condition with no evidence of twisting, and all tabs are present.  We are noting surface rust and moderate pitting.  And the original paint is dated.  But we like the fundamentals.

FITMENT NOTE--this tray should not be confused with the smaller, early kickstart only model.  Nor should it be confused with the larger FL/FLH tray.  This tray is unique to the FXE ("E"lectric Start) models only.
