Harley FXE Shovelhead Battery Tray OEM 1973-79,  Early Style Relays

Early style tray, correct for electric start models from 1973-79.  It is distinguished by its two countersunk holes, used for attaching the early, large, bottom-mounted relay.

Very solid construction, as you would expect from an OEM tray.  Square condition, and no broken tabs, but there is the typical wear spot on the lower mount tab.  Tray inner base has some surface rust and pitting, but the base remains very solid.

FITMENT NOTE--this tray should not be confused with the smaller, early kickstart only model.  Nor should it be confused with the larger FL/FLH tray.  This tray is unique to the FXE ("E"lectric Start) models only.
