Harley FXE Shovelhead Battery Strap, 1973-84 (OEM #66476-73A)

Construction is likely a ferrous stainless steel.  And we have already tested fitment on a Factory FXE tray, and the sizing is correct.  Some distortions along the edges, but this is typical.  

Correct for use on electric start FX models for 1973-84.

FITMENT NOTE: For Kickstart only models, a shorter width strap was used.  Likewise, for FL/FLH models, a larger width strap was used. This strap has a 7" measurement across the top, so your existing battery should conform.  When in doubt, please review your own Factory references to verify proper fitment.
