Harley FX/FL Shovelhead Guide 68 Tail Light With Guidex Lens (OEM 1968-72)

Genuine Guide 68.

Other than a missing 12 volt bulb, this is a complete assembly.  Body is straight we no dents, dings, or modifications.  Paint appears to be a dated, flat black.  Illumination lens is OEM with the correct features.  Rear lens is also a genuine Guidex, but there is a small chip along the inner edge, and you can see there is a fracture leading from the crack, best seen in closeup photo #3.  That being said, as a whole, the rear lens should hold up well.

Will require some cleaning of sealing material on back.  Also needed is a new cork seal, which is hard and brittle.  And the lamp leads should be carefully reviewed for worn insulation and possible replacement.

A little dated and weathered, but it's all original.
