Harley Fuel/Gas Tank Valve, Filter Needed  (K Model/XL Sportster/Shovelhead)

Early, winged fuel valve, correct for K Models 1952-54, XL Ironheads 1955-74, and Big Twins 1966-1974. 

Valve has correct function on both sides, and we are not detecting any air leaks.  Valves turn smoothly and cleanly, and they snap into their open and closed positions well.  Threads are straight, and hose fitting tube is in very nice shape.  Hex flats show typical folding, and there are some jaw marks on a few flats.  But these surfaces can be filed, reshaped, and refinished if desired.
