Harley FLT Shovelhead Rear Caliper, OEM #44076-80  (Left Side Bleeder Screw)

Dual piston caliper, correct for FLT and Classic models from 1980-85.

Specifically, this is OEM assembly #44076-80, which is distinguished by its bleeder screw location on the left side.  In contrast, the FL/FLH version has a bleeder screw location on the right.  So, although the FLT and FL/FLH assemblies appear the same, it's important to note that bleeder screw and hydraulic connector ports differed.  That means this caliper WILL NOT fit the FL/FLH using the stock hydraulic lines.  So this is for FLT and Classic models, only, 1980-85.

Very clean condition.  Pistons have smooth movement, in and out.  And the pistons and seals appear clean.  Linings bolts are present with wafer-type washers, and the linings still look very usable in the near term.  And there is no excess bolt play, either.   Bleeder screw and connector ports both have good, straight threads.  And we left the connector head of the original hydraulic hose attached to keep out dust and debris.

Only one shim plate is present, but original assemblies called for two.  So one additional shim plate will be required.  Factory references also show use of two springs, which are not included.  So please review your own Factory references to verify all components required for a correct installation.
