Harley FL Shovelhead Passenger Peg Bracket  (Right Side, 1977)

We have been unable to find the OEM part number for this bracket

However, its mount plate style is similar to the mount plate found on OEM #52686-77, but the extension section on this bracket is shorter and straight.   So we suspect this bracket was likely used, in conjunction with peg arm #52698-65, as an alternative to OEM #52686-77.  And it would have provided some articulation options, compared to the fixed extension found on #52686-77.  So it's use may have been specific to some FL models were arm articulation and clearances were required.  We thinking exhaust header options might have necessitated the need for this bracket on some models.  But that's just a guess on our part, and more research may be required.

To our knowledge, steel mounts were only used on the FL models for the 1977 vintage.  And the mount hole spacing on this bracket is correct for the passenger peg blocks found on the '77 and later frames.
