Harley FL Shovelhead Gas Tank Emblem/Nameplate, LEFT SIDE  (Short Style, 6 11/16" Centers)

This nameplate came in short and long versions.  This is the shorter version with mounting screw hole centers measuring 6 11/16".  In red finish, this is either #61478-76 used in 1976, or it's #61799-77 used in 1977.  We're not sure which.  So more research may be required.

Generally excellent condition.  Existing curvature indicates previous use occurred on the left side.  No dents.  No dings.  And no distortions on the mounting holes.  We are only noting minor finish wear and small scratches.  Otherwise excellent.
