Harley FL/FLH Shovelhead Footboard, 1966-84  (OEM #50603-66)

In general, condition is particularly good--the board is square, not warped, twisted, or dished.  There is no edge scraping, which is remarkable.  And there is no distortion of the inner edges nearest the footboard stud mount locations.  The original finish is mostly worn, but the surfaces remain smooth.  So this is an excellent candidate for refinishing.  Or it could be used as a naturally-aged original.

Lastly, this is the early rubber mat type, which was glued to the board.  In contrast, the shaker style had elevated dampers.  So this is the early style, common to Generator Shovelheads and early Cone Shovelheads, but it can be used to 1984, if desired.

FITMENT NOTE:  this board is for Shovelhead era models, only.  For the Evolution era bikes, a different board set with a different mount spacing was used.  So this board will not fit on Evolution-era models.
