Harley Evolution FXST Softail Shifter & Brake Plate Set (OEM, 1990-99)

This plate set can be used on FXST models from 1990-99. However, there were some variations which you might wish to consider, as follows:

Shifter Plate:
Technically, this gusseted shifter plate style was used for FXST Softail models from 1986-90. For the '91 and later vintage, the construction style changed to a one-piece casting with smoother contours. However, the shifter shaft hole position and frame mount hole patterns are the same from 1986-99.

Brake Plate:
This brake plate style is typical for FXST Softail models 1990-99. However, for pre-'90 bikes, a few different brake plates and master cylinder configurations were used. That being said, this plate will fit certainly fit the pre-'90 frames. However, master cylinder and reservoir configurations would need to be updated, when running this plate on those early model bikes.

NOTE: this style shifter plate used an "O" ring seal set as well as a teflon spacer. Also, we've discovered a few different lever shaft diameters. We believe the FXWG version might have used a slightly larger shaft diameter.

Original black wrinkle finish is still mostly present. And it still looks fairly good. Plates are square, and there are no cracks on any of the mount holes.
