Harley-Davidson FX Shovelhead Shift Lever  (OEM #34564-74, 1974-76)

This is an original shift lever, OEM #34564-74. 

It is distinguished by its cast textured finish, its broadly-rounded shape over the shifter shaft hole, and the low position of the pinch bolt, which does not pass through the splined shaft hole.  In contrast, some later versions machined the pinch bolt hole closer to the shaft bore, allowing partial bolt engagement with the splined shaft.

Peg is a little smoothed from use, but still in good, usable condition.  And it is original.  Pinch bolt is Grade 5 from our shop stock.
