Harley AMF Keihin Carburetor--Early Type (FX/FL Shovelhead, OEM 1976-E78)

The faithful Type 1 Keihin.

Using Bruce Palmer's terminology, there are 3 "Types" of the Keihin. This is a Type 1, correct for FX, FL, and XL models, 1976-Early '78.  It's a reliable performer for stock bikes, and it's an extremely simple design that is easy to rebuild.  It also has a simple choke function compared to later versions.

Both throttle and choke plate have good function, float bowl assembly is complete with jetting, and all flange bolt holes have good threads.  

Required is a choke cable guide, new fuel inlet elbow, a rebuild kit, and a complete and thorough cleaning, prior to use.
