Factory references show first use in 1996, specifically for FLHT, FLHTC, FLHTC-U and FLHR models.   We do not have Factory references for model years, thereafter.   However, it is likely safe to assume its use continued to at least 1998.    Still, we always recommend you consult your own Factory references or local builder to verify proper fitment.
