FX Shovelhead Brake Pedal Return Spring, 1971-Early '79, Only   (NOS/OEM #42425-71)

There are two variations on this spring, and there are suble differences between them.   

This is the early part number, #42425-71, correct for use on early FX models 1971-Early '79.    For Late '79-Later, part number #42425-79 was used.    The primary difference between them is the hook locations.    On this early spring, there is approximately 1" of spread between the hooks.    On the late version, the hooks are next to each other without a spread between them.
