Big Twin Transmission Main Shaft Ball Bearing  (NOS/OEM #8996A)

The #8996 part number first appears on 5-speed transmissions in 1987, but we did not find the "A" designator used until 1998, and we have found it to at least 2006.   We don't have references thereafter, but we suspect continued use.    However, please review your own Factory references to verify proper fitment.
