Harley XL Ironhead Primary Chain Adjuster Lining Retainer (OEM/NOS, 1958-76)

Early style retainer for chain adjusters, late 1958-76, OEM number 39979-58A. Used on both XLH and XLCH models.

We acquired a number of these from a local shop supply, and the vast majority of components were OEM, so we are reasonably presuming this also is OEM. Further, construction is from a sturdy stamped steel plate, not tin, which is what we would expect from an OEM component.
